Overview

These terms govern your use of LineKeeper, an AI phone receptionist service operated in the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

The service

LineKeeper provides an inbound AI phone agent that answers calls on your behalf, handles frequently asked questions from your knowledge base, books and reschedules appointments, captures leads, and routes or escalates calls to a human when appropriate. After each call we produce a transcript and summary and can send follow-up emails or SMS on your behalf.

Accounts & access

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for unlawful purposes.

Billing & credit

LineKeeper operates on a prepaid-credit model. You purchase credit in advance and usage is deducted as calls are handled. Credit is non-refundable except where required by law. We will notify you when your balance is running low and the service will pause when credit is exhausted.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for outbound telemarketing, spam, or any unsolicited communications.
  • Upload misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content to your knowledge base.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or compromise the security of the platform.
  • Resell access to the service without our written consent.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you upload (knowledge-base articles, greetings, business information). We retain ownership of the platform, its software, and branding. Call recordings, transcripts, and summaries generated by the service are owned by you and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

LineKeeper is provided “as is”. While we strive for high availability and accuracy, we do not guarantee that the AI agent will handle every call perfectly. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount of credit you have purchased in the preceding 12 months.

Termination

You may close your account at any time from the dashboard. We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these terms, with reasonable notice where possible. On termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion unless you request earlier removal.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
